I'm here to let you know that it *IS* possible to cosplay. You just have to know where to start.

Actually, you just have to start.

I'm a little bit like you. I started cosplaying semi-seriously this summer (2012), learning the basics of how to sew and save money and make armor and most importantly, SAVE MONEY. Cutting corners where corners can be cut and learning about what makes your cosplay feel like... cosplay.

Ladies (and maybe gents?) welcome to our current ride to the future of cosplay, where we shall learn together the basics of cosplay. I'm not talking about how to fix up a wig or how to make large extravagant costumes. Those things seem scary and daunting, so let's start small. The basics.

Makeup. Attitude. Budgeting.
